
We are excited to share that Vitalité successfully conducted its first mindfulness session in the beautiful coastal town of Kuşadası!
Held in a calm and inspiring environment surrounded by nature, our session brought together students and participants who wanted to take a break from daily stress and reconnect with themselves.
Mindfulness — the practice of being fully present and engaged in the moment — is a powerful tool for promoting mental wellness, one of the core focuses of Vitalité and Sustainable Development Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-Being).
During the session, we guided participants through:
- Breathing exercises to anchor themselves in the present,
- Body scan meditation to promote relaxation and awareness,
- Short mindful walking practices to deepen the connection between mind and body,
- And open sharing circles where participants reflected on their experience.
The atmosphere was filled with calmness, connection, and a sense of community. Many participants shared that even a short time spent practicing mindfulness helped them feel lighter, more centered, and better equipped to handle everyday challenges.
At Vitalité, we believe that nurturing mental wellness is an essential part of living sustainably. By taking care of our minds, we are also strengthening our ability to care for others and the world around us.
This session was just the beginning. We plan to organize more mindfulness events, both online and in-person, to continue supporting healthy, balanced living.
